Below you will find some frequently asked questions on our work as joiners and carpenters serving Suffolk and the wider East Anglia area. If you have any questions in the field of joinery or carpentry that are not answered, please contact us via the link above.
What is the difference between carpentry and joinery?
Put simply, joiners join wood together – cabinet making, door and window frames, bespoke furniture and more intricate work….so all the fun stuff! Carpenters, in general, fix things. We’re trained in both!
You are not the only carpenter in Ipswich, why should we choose you?
No, we are not the only fine carpentry firm in Ipswich, however, we think we are among the best. Hopefully our portfolio and the testimonials from across Suffolk give you a taste of the level of service we offer. If you have any queries or would like us to quote for a job, don’t hesitate to get in contact.
Is your timber sustainable?
All our wood comes from a sustainable source and, where requested, is FSC certified.
Where are you based and where are you prepared to work?
We are based in Belstead (near Ipswich), in Suffolk and can easily travel to Bury St Edmunds, Colchester, Newmarket, Stowmarket, Sudbury, Woodbridge and across East Anglia. In fact, we have been commissioned as far afield as San Francisco, California!
Are you fully insured?
We have full public liability insurance and the certificate can be viewed on request.
